Who are your services intended for and how does this work in practice?​


We advise and help large corporate clients worldwide in the implementation and administration of their Health and Life & Disability plans.

For more than 70 years, Henner has been proposing its unique expertise in the field of International Employee Benefits to large corporate clients. This implies implementing tailor-made solutions as much for expatriates as for local and cross boarder employees. Henner analyzes the clients’ needs in order to provide striking counselling that enables a full optimization of their Health as well as Life & Disability programs.

Our services can be proposed through any broker on the Luxembourgish market or directly through a dedicated key account manager at Henner. It is fully possible to maintain your strong relationship with your current broker and to benefit from our comprehensive range of services.


How does your company stand out from the competition?

Being a privately held, family-owned company, Henner is entirely independent from any external entity. Our independence and flexibility make as a unique actor on the market. We act as a broker, an insurance consultant, a claim administrator, and as a medical service provider.  Very few actors have this IPMI expertise in Luxembourg and/or worldwide.

Moreover, in order to be as close as possible to our 2 million insured members and to protect them worldwide, Henner has been expanding internationally. We currently have 11 client service teams enabling a 24/7 service for all our members worldwide. Henner has also developed an international network with more than 1,3M of medical providers, who propose direct billing. This network is very wide in Luxembourg as well as in the crossboarder countries, and implies a healthcare of quality for the insured members.

These differences are highly appreciated by our clients, who honor us by an average of 24 years of customer loyalty. 


On the basis of your expertise, have you identified any areas of vigilance on which to alert HR professionals?


Health as well as Life & Disability Insurance represent key elements for a company’s performance. They can have a significant financial impact in case of high claims (bad loss ratio) and jeopardize the company’s brand image. We are strongly convinced that the company can embody well-being and prevention for its employees. This is the reason why we work on a daily basis with HR’s to implement these types of programs.
